We are seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join JPMorganChase's On Premise and Next Generation Infrastructure team. You will be a seasoned member of a small, high-paced agile team spanning global locations, delivering a first-class private cloud offering, enabling multiple hypervisor platforms, and ensuring a consistent end-user experience across both on-premises and public cloud environments. You will act as an innovator, leveraging AI tooling and continuous improvement practices to drive quality and efficiency. Your deep software engineering expertise, DevOps and SRE principles, and enthusiasm for new technologies will help shape our infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and troubleshoot Hyper-V cluster lifecycle automation; implement automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance enforcement, and decommissioning using PowerShell and platform APIs.
Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices, establish secure coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, and reusable patterns across the team.
Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation value; drive production-grade deployments; document design decisions for auditability.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability; mentor engineers through design and code reviews to raise engineering standards.
