This role partners with senior leadership and their teams across People, Workplace, and Customer Zero to lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities that support Okta's growth. The Senior Financial Analyst will own the budgeting and forecasting processes for the G&A function, collaborate with business partners to ensure accuracy of spend and headcount metrics, and maintain and improve detailed financial models. Responsibilities also include preparing budget vs. actual variance analyses, driving operational efficiencies, supporting the close process with the controllership team, and contributing to long-range strategic planning. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of FP&A experience, proficiency with FP&A systems (Anaplan, Workday, Tableau a plus), experience with AI tools in workflows (a plus), and strong Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/Slides skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment are essential. Experience in a global high-tech/SaaS organization is a plus. This position is based in our San Francisco office with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office at least two days per week).
