Hover is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own finance business partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Design, and Data. This high-ownership, individual-contributor role puts you close to the CFO and provides exposure to executive decision-making as Hover allocates capital. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to turn what happened into how to make it happen, evaluate ROI on GTM and product investments, and help shape resource allocation. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional monthly closes, quarterly updates, annual planning, and long-range planning; benchmarking investments against peers; challenging trade-offs; and collaborating with HR, Accounting, and Recruiting to support executive and board reporting. Requirements include 5+ years in a finance business-partnering role with forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning; ability to build models from scratch with ambiguous inputs; excellent communication; fluency with AI tools; meticulous attention to detail and a service mindset; and experience with FP&A systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive, or Pigment (Hover uses Drivetrain for planning). Nice-to-haves include ROI analysis in GTM and product contexts, experience using AI to automate FP&A tasks, and familiarity with metrics like NRR, sales payback, and the Rule of 40.
