Gilbane is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Information Technology Team. You will apply deep statistical analysis, machine learning, causal inference, and AI techniques to study the business and deploy analytical solutions that optimize outcomes. Responsibilities include developing data pipelines, cleaning and structuring data, and partnering with Data Engineering and BI teams to productionize models and insights. You will identify critical drivers of predicted outcomes, collaborate with business SMEs to enrich model insights, ensure user adoption, and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner. You will build high-quality analytics solutions that inform strategic decisions and influence business processes. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with PhD desired or a Master’s degree with strong quantitative focus in statistics, data science, economics, psychology (research/experimental) or related fields; deep knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, feature engineering, and causal inference; strong SQL and Python or R skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities. This role can be performed remotely or from any U.S. location where Gilbane has an office. Salary ranges from $141,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
