About the role

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team as a full-time employee. This remote-friendly role supports a cross-functional Product Engine team working on a cloud-native credit lifecycle platform for a global financial services provider, with Oslo, Norway as the location.

Responsibilities

Minimum five years of hands-on experience delivering analysis in complex financial services environments
Translate business needs into clear requirements and design artefacts, including low-level designs and user stories with acceptance criteria
Perform data flow mapping and integration design while managing cross-functional stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and interviews for requirements elicitation and document high-level solution designs
Support testing activities including UAT planning, defect triage, and change impact analysis
Conduct root cause analysis and evaluate solution options to support data-driven decision making

Requirements

Desirable:

Expert proficiency in requirements elicitation, documentation, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria
Competent knowledge of APIs, databases, system integrations, and cloud environments (AWS)
Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and Product Operating Models
Proficiency in using JIRA for backlog and sprint management and Confluence for knowledge management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and architects
