Senior Backend Engineer II is sought to join the Engineering Experience domain within Vinted's Platform unit. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating backend systems, developer tools, and platform services used at scale, with an emphasis on AI-assisted engineering to boost developer productivity across Vinted's software lifecycle. You will join one of the Engineering Experience teams—Development Environments & AI or CI/CD—and collaborate with other teams to deliver fast, reliable development, integration, delivery, and quality improvements. Responsibilities include designing and owning tools, services and frameworks (using Go, Ruby, Kubernetes), enabling AI-assisted workflows, and ensuring wide adoption across the organization. You will own solutions end-to-end from ideation to deployment, and enable hundreds of engineers to work more efficiently. About you: substantial experience designing, building, and operating backend systems; experience shipping developer-facing tooling; clean, maintainable, and testable code; strong English communication; and willingness to work with AI-powered coding workflows.
