Pelago is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape how data is defined, interpreted, and used across the organization. In this role, you will lead the analytics foundation by architecting scalable dbt model layers, setting transformation standards, and establishing data quality frameworks. You will own business logic and metrics at scale, translate ambiguous requirements into reusable data models, and define and evolve Pelago's KPI layer for consistency across teams. You will drive cross-functional outcomes by building consensus among Product, Clinical, Finance, Growth, Client Success, and Data Engineering, and mentor Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to raise the team's data quality. You will enable advanced analytics, experimentation design, ROI measurement, and AI/LLM workflows, and contribute toward Pelago's Cube/semantic API layer for standardized data access. You will partner with Data Science and ML to ensure feature-ready datasets. Required: 5+ years in analytics engineering, expert SQL, data warehousing, dbt, and experience with modern data stacks (Redshift, Snowflake, or similar). Preferred: healthcare data familiarity, Looker/Cube.js, experimentation frameworks, data observability tools, and prior mentoring. The base pay range is $175,000—$190,000 USD.
