The Sales Representative continuously sources new customers, helps buyers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process. Essential duties include communicating D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers; uncovering customer goals and challenges to establish D.R. Horton as the best solution; overcoming objections and closing sales; maintaining accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan options and construction; continually sourcing new sales opportunities; creating and presenting to management a marketing plan to establish new customer relationships; networking with realtors; managing time effectively to meet sales goals and collaborating with other team members; maintaining and expanding a database of prospects; attending sales meetings; developing and maintaining rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members; executing policies to ensure compliance with quality standards; and conducting all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit of the company. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or two years related experience; must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime; ability to utilize D.R. Horton Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop; proficiency with MS Office and email; physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hour
