The Sales Representative continuously sources new customers, assists buyers in finding and designing their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process. Key duties include effectively communicating DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers; uncovering and understanding customer goals and challenges, then establishing DR Horton as the best solution; overcoming objections and closing sales; maintaining accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction; continually sourcing new sales opportunities; creating and providing to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships; networking and performing outreach to realtors; managing time efficiently to meet sales goals and work effectively with other team members; maintaining and expanding a database of prospects; attending sales meetings; developing and maintaining good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members; executing policies to ensure compliance with quality standards; and conducting all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or two years of related experience; own a vehicle and valid driver's license with ability to drive day or night; ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or lap
