Hoppe Marine GmbH is seeking a Sales Manager to progressively assume the role as part of a leadership transition. This position includes an approximately two-year onboarding and training phase to build the knowledge required for future responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Profile:

Lead strategic and operational business development in the assigned sales regions (UK, Northern Europe, and Eastern Europe).
Expand existing customer relationships and win new customers and projects.
Manage relations with shipping lines, shipyards, system integrators, and distribution partners.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies in coordination with local sales agents and partners.
Conduct contractual, pricing, and technical negotiations.
Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and customer events.
Manage the order intake budget and achieve defined revenue and growth targets in the region.
Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Service, and Project Execution teams.
Several years of successful sales experience in a technical B2B environment.
Experience in the maritime industry is required or highly preferred.
Technical understanding of ship systems, automation, measurement, or control technology.
Experience in international business and in project sales.
Ideally an established network with shipping lines, shipyards, and maritime decision-makers.
