JerseySTEM is seeking skilled Agile Product Owners to help implement and execute transformational organizational outcomes. This unpaid, pro-bono position offers the opportunity to drive Agile product management within JerseySTEM’s information systems domains, including the Outreach Information System (built around Salesforce with integrations like email marketing and QuickBooks) and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) using iCIMS and Enboarder. Responsibilities include organizing and overseeing requirements gathering, managing and prioritizing the product backlog for an Agile team, attending weekly team meetings, working with stakeholders to understand needs and constraints, clarifying user stories and acceptance criteria, reviewing progress and adjusting the backlog, and identifying process and communication issues. Minimum time commitment is 5-7 hours per week for at least six months. Qualifications include 3-4 years of experience as Product Owner or Project Manager in a corporate setting, a proven track record as PO/PM, strong communication and analytical skills, and preferred certifications such as CSPO, PMP, SAFe. Experience with Jira, Kanban, and Slack is desirable. This role is on-site in the United States.
