Product Manager – Valves, Actuation & Controls

A Technical Product Manager specializing in the technical aspects of limit switches, valves, communications and controls. This role requires a strong background in controls and communications technology, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements while collaborating with customers and engineering teams to ensure products are technically feasible and meet customer requirements. Based in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, United States.

As a member of Valmet’s Valve Controls & Actuators Team, the Technical Product Manager will be a technical and commercial resource for the assigned products, supported by local and global teams as needed. Responsibilities include providing applications support to customers and channel representatives for all assigned products; supporting technical returns, including failure evaluation and coordination with other technical resources within North America and globally; providing field support and product training to inside sales, service centers, and distributor personnel (existing and new products); traveling to customer and channel locations for technical presentations and sales support activities; configuring products and creating bills of materials using ATON, Epic, M3, and other engineering and ERP modules; supporting global sales using Tacton CPQ and other quotation systems.
