We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to drive the strategy and evolution of the Calico platform. This senior, high-ownership role spans from defining the product vision to execution: you will shape the roadmap, define go-to-market plans, and partner directly with engineering, sales, marketing, and ecosystem partners to bring new capabilities to market. You will own strategic initiatives across the platform over time, beginning with extending Calico's converged networking for VM workloads in Kubernetes from MVP through GA and beyond, while taking on additional platform bets as the business grows.

This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area (US), with hybrid work at our San Francisco or San Jose offices. San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range: $220,000 - $240,000 OTE
You Will Own: - Product vision and roadmap for major Calico platform initiatives, from MVP to GA and the follow-on roadmap, prioritized by customer value and revenue impact. - Competitive positioning in the Kubernetes networking and security market; craft narratives that emphasize platform value—unified networking, top-tier microsegmentation and DNS policy, cluster-mesh, observability—rather than raw dataplane features. - Go-to-market strategy across both sales-led motions and partner-led motions with the ecosystem of platform and infrastructure partners. - Customer discovery and validation with enterprise accounts, using structured interviews to stress-test assumptions before engineering resources are committed
