Platform Engineer is sought to join BIP Red, the Creative Technology Studio of BIP, in Milan. You will design, build and evolve modern cloud-native platforms that are scalable, secure and developer-friendly. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and infrastructure as code, improving developer experience through internal tooling, and collaborating closely with software engineers throughout the software delivery lifecycle. You will support development teams in designing scalable, resilient and observable applications, use AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate provisioning, generate infrastructure as code, troubleshoot production issues and automate repetitive tasks, and ensure platform reliability, security and operational excellence. You will participate in troubleshooting complex production incidents and perform root-cause analysis, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to evolving our technology stack and engineering standards. The role offers up to 100% remote work in Milan.

Required Skills: - DevOps mindset with at least 3 years as a DevOps Engineer or similar, plus a background in software development. - Automation first: strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins or equivalent. - Cloud expertise with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform; cloud certifications are a plus. - Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools. - Containers and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, including production deployments and troubleshooting.
