KRAFTON is seeking a Mobile Game Security Software Engineer to develop mobile Anti-Cheat and Anti-Tamper features for Android and iOS, helping to protect game runtimes across our mobile titles. This on-site role is based in El Segundo, California, United States and is part of KRAFTON Security Services (KSS), which provides core security capabilities such as Anti-Cheat, Anti-Tamper, security operations, data analysis, and ML-based detection to create a trusted gameplay environment for KRAFTON games.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Research and develop mobile Anti-Cheat and Anti-Tamper features for Android and iOS
Detect and respond to mobile game client security threats such as tampering, repackaging, hooking, debugging, rooting/jailbreaking, and automation tools
Analyze Android/iOS internals, runtimes, system calls, and security mechanisms
Design and implement features for memory/process protection, runtime verification, and unauthorized tool detection
Analyze new mobile cheat and attack techniques and research defensive technologies
Provide technical support and improvements to ensure KSS security features are reliably applied across various mobile game environments
5+ years of C++ software development experience with object-oriented design
Experience developing mobile Anti-Cheat, Anti-Tamper, DRM, security solutions, or client protection technologies
Understanding of system programming concepts such as memory management and multithreading
Experience developing native clients for Android or iOS, or equivalent
