The role manages mechanical construction projects from conception to completion, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure schedules are met, quality workmanship, and project profitability. Responsibilities include ordering materials and equipment, issuing subcontracts, developing billings, handling RFIs and change orders, and preparing submittals; maintaining knowledge of general conditions, work scope, and contract/subcontract specifications; planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve issues; and establishing cost control centers for tracking equipment, materials, labor, subcontracts, and miscellaneous costs. You will manage large jobs with minimal supervision, procure and manage subcontractors and equipment vendors, and inspect sites to ensure contract compliance, workmanship, and safety. Travel domestically up to 40% is required. The position requires proficiency with construction management software, strong time and project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
