Junior Frontend Software Engineer (Frontend Focused)

BigBear.ai is seeking a Frontend-focused software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly to join the Development and Analysis Team (DAT). In this role, you will design and build critical user interfaces that CNO operators and analysts rely on daily to execute missions. This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment where code moves from concept to production rapidly, directly reducing operational friction. What you will do: - Craft intuitive UIs: design and develop clean, responsive frontend interfaces to display complex mission data. - Engage with users: communicate directly with analysts and operators to gather feedback, understand workflows, and rapidly integrate needs into software solutions. - Automate and streamline: identify bottlenecks in operational workflows and build automated solutions to increase user efficiency. - Collaborate and learn: work with a tight-knit, cross-functional team to solve ambiguous problems, even with limited initial domain knowledge.

What you need to have: - 3+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 7+ years of experience substituting four years of additional engineering experience for a degree. - Frontend expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS. - Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
