Healthcare Account Executive – Greater DC Area

Overview: The Healthcare Account Executive drives revenue growth for UPS by developing new business and retaining existing healthcare accounts within the assigned territory. The role analyzes customers' supply chain needs to craft appropriate solutions and responds promptly to requests. You will build partnerships with stakeholders at all levels to generate revenue opportunities across UPS's product and service lines. You will meet with customers daily to discuss issues and collect documentation, and you will collaborate with operations to implement accounts with special requirements (e.g., unique delivery schedules, additional equipment) to meet customers' shipping needs.

Primary Territory: Greater DC Area

Responsibilities

Execute on contracts to introduce new products and services and expand business within customer accounts.
Perform pre-call analysis to prepare for sales calls.
Respond to internal sales leads and develop sales strategies.
Analyze price quotes to verify accuracy and determine solutions.
Generate customer-facing reports on shipping history, billing history, and account incentives; renegotiate contracts as needed.
Document customer information and provide account status to the sales team.
Train customers on proper packaging techniques to avoid damages.
Demonstrate familiarity with core service offerings and competitive landscape; describe which products and services benefit customers and compare UPS with competitors.
