This is a field-based Local Gastro Account Manager role aligned with AbbVie’s Gastroenterology portfolio. The geography includes Houston, Texas, Austin, San Antonio, and parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, with candidates in Houston or Austin preferred to be near a major airport. The Local Gastro Account Manager, Site of Care (SOC) will assess, plan and execute AbbVie programs to support infusion therapy delivery within the Gastroenterology space, prospecting and establishing business-to-business relationships with local SOC sites and developing account or partner business plans to achieve defined objectives under SOC strategy development, execution, and measurement. The role also involves collaborating with internal partners to maximize pull-through through coordinated business planning. Responsibilities may include managing Local Infusion Providers and Specialty Pharmacies focused on Infusion Services. Responsibilities include maximizing SOC opportunities in line with product labeling and company policies; executing against defined MBOs; providing overviews of therapy and infusion procedures to SOC customers/partners; coordinating with Medical Affairs as needed; identifying gaps in SOC networks and developing expansion plans; pulling through national contracts at the local level and developing business cases to support contracts; delivering education on coding and billing; conducting quarterly business reviews with SOC administrative leaders; serving as the lead contact with sales, patient services and reimbursement access functions; evaluating and monitoring partnerships
