About the role

Swiss Medical Network, one of Switzerland’s leading private hospital groups, is seeking a Fullstack Developer (AI & Digital Health) to drive the digital transformation of its clinics. You will design and develop innovative AI-powered software solutions that improve the patient journey and support clinical staff. You will act as a technical bridge between medical requirements and modern technologies, ensuring digital health applications are secure, scalable and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

Develop and architect scalable full-stack web applications (frontend and backend) for clinical and administrative use.
Integrate AI/ML components, including large language models, into existing and new applications to support diagnostic or administrative processes (explainable AI).
Connect applications to clinical primary systems (KIS/HIS) using modern interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) and ensure smooth data exchange.
Ensure security by design and data protection compliance (DSG/DSGVO) in collaboration with the data protection officer.
DevOps & Cloud: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure for operation of AI solutions.
Prototyping: rapid PoC development to evaluate the potential of new AI technologies in daily clinic operations.
Collaboration: work closely with data scientists, physicians and nursing staff to create user-centric solutions.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent with strong focus on modern web technologies.
Development skills in modern back-end (Python, Node.js, Java) and front-e
