Finance Manager (Remote within the United Kingdom)

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and compliance across accounting, payroll, treasury, tax, VAT, and accounts payable. The successful candidate will work closely with the studio and group finance teams, manage outsourced providers, and support the delivery of all core finance processes.

Key responsibilities: - Lead month-end and year-end processes, including revenue recognition, reconciliations, audits, and statutory reporting. - Manage cash flow forecasting, payroll, tax compliance, VAT returns, and group reporting requirements. - Oversee intercompany transactions and cross-charging to ensure accuracy and group compliance. - Coordinate annual audits and review outsourced statutory accounts and corporation tax submissions. - Oversee outsourced payroll and pension providers and HMRC reporting. - Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and manage daily banking activities. - Oversee outsourced accounts payable and manage card expenditure reconciliations. - Prepare VAT returns and coordinate outsourced VGTR and R&D tax credit claims. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning activities.

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience managing month-end processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Strong understanding of payroll, VAT, and financial compliance.
Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting budgeting.
