About the role

Albireo Energy is seeking an Energy Procurement Account Executive to contribute to the company’s growth by crafting procurement strategies for electricity and natural gas, as well as related products such as demand response and RECs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account origination and disciplined account management, with the ability to excel in a high-performing team environment. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, Massachusetts (the Natick area was referenced in the original posting), United States, with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Demonstrate a proven sales record within the deregulated energy markets for electricity and natural gas.
Develop and maintain relationships with large, sophisticated clients and manage midsize accounts.
Expand relationships with the established client base; set meetings, identify opportunities, and communicate Albireo Energy’s capabilities.
Prepare customized slide decks that convey the company’s value proposition.
Possess working knowledge of available products and pricing components across markets.
Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users.
Partner with the Customer Service, Pricing, and Analytics teams to deliver services to clients.
Ensure projects are completed timely and within budget.
Provide consultative services to clients for all energy needs.
Engage with clients regularly to maintain relationships.
Attend sales meetings and training seminars.
Track sales activities and forecast opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in a related
