MongoDB is seeking a Director of Business Product Management for PRM (Partner Relationship Management) to own the business vision and requirements for the platform that powers our partner ecosystem. This is a business-side role with no coding required, focused on translating partner and internal stakeholder needs into a clear product vision, a prioritized roadmap, and well-defined requirements for the engineering team. Based in Palo Alto with a hybrid work model, you will serve as the primary business liaison between the partner organization (Sales Plays & Offerings, Programs, Enablement, Digital Process & AI Operations) and the engineering/IT teams that build and maintain the PRM platform. You will define the long-term strategy, maintain a balanced backlog, monitor market directions (PRM platforms like Salesforce PRM, Impartner, Workspan, Zift, Crossbeam, and AI-native entrants), and determine make-versus-buy decisions. You will gather structured requirements, author BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and work with engineering to deliver with clarity. You will lead or participate in UAT, drive change management, and develop enablement content to support adoption. You will measure platform adoption and health, report progress to the VP of Partner Strategic Operations and other stakeholders, and continuously reprioritize the roadmap based on data and feedback.
