JobMatcherDesign Project Manager at MetroNational is responsible for delivering innovative design projects from concept through completion. This role manages internal and external project teams, coordinates consultants, supports contract documentation, maintains project schedules, and ensures projects are delivered with quality, on time, and within budget. The Design Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and collaborates with Development, Design leadership, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Reporting to the Director of Design, this position helps advance MetroNational’s design standards and supports real estate development and renovation initiatives, translating design vision into clear, coordinated, and executable project documentation. The role requires strong project management skills, architectural knowledge, consultant coordination experience, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Key responsibilities include project management and delivery across phases from concept through closeout; preparing and maintaining schedules and trackers; monitoring project health; coordinating with internal teams and consultants; reviewing design documentation for quality and constructability; producing high-quality drawings and documentation sets; supporting contract documents and consultant deliverables; and handling consultant procurement and contract support, change orders, and financial documentation.
