This position, based in Austin, Texas, United States, is on-site for a junior to mid-level Controls and Automation Engineer who will work with clients and vendors to design systems that meet project needs. Responsibilities include assisting with the design of industrial control systems, developing and modifying PLC and HMI programs under the guidance of senior control engineers, reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system documentation, performing electrical I/O verification prior to shipment and during commissioning, participating in Factory Acceptance Testing of PLC/HMI applications, control panels, and integrated equipment, verifying proper operation of control systems through testing and documentation, troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and HMI issues during startup and service, interacting with engineers, operators, and customers to support installed control systems, and assisting with system upgrades and customer support.
