Fivetran, in partnership with dbt Labs, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help prospects understand the value of dbt Cloud. This hybrid role is based in Austin, Texas, with an expectation of being in the office 2-3 days per week. You will lead technical discussions with prospective customers, uncover data challenges, and demonstrate how dbt Cloud can meet their needs through live demos and technical workshops. Internally, you’ll contribute to refining processes and playbooks, while acting as the voice of the customer to ensure ongoing product improvements that solve real problems for users. You will spend the majority of your time on pre-sales opportunities, consult with potential customers to uncover data challenges, own the demonstration of technical and business impact, and collaborate closely with Account Executives to build trusted relationships throughout the deal process. You will maintain ongoing relationships with technical stakeholders, partner with internal teams to improve collaboration and represent the customer in product discussions, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. You will create external-facing content through live events, blog posts, recorded tutorials, or other educational resources.
