Based in Hobart, Wisconsin, this on-site role will oversee transportation design projects across our Wisconsin offices, including Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire, from pursuit through delivery. You will set goals, monitor progress, and implement the team’s short- and long-term vision as part of the annual business plan. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, client communications, staffing, and project budgets for the full lifecycle; leading and mentoring transportation-related teams; developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships; ensuring effective internal and external communication; determining staffing needs and recruiting; and adhering to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; 10+ years of relevant experience with several years in project leadership; a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or the ability to obtain it; excellent written and verbal communication skills; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to worksites and meetings; the legal authorization to work in the United States; and occasional travel for professional development or project-related work.
