Aston Carter is seeking a motivated Business Analyst I to join its Public Policy team on a contract basis. This fully remote role is based out of New York, NY. You will monitor and analyze political, regulatory, and legislative developments across multiple jurisdictions and translate policy insights into clear, actionable guidance to inform business decisions. Responsibilities include producing high quality bespoke analysis on policy developments, preparing briefings and internal updates for stakeholders, collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure policy insights align with commercial priorities, and contributing to the enhancement of internal monitoring systems and analytical tools. You will maintain up to date knowledge of global policy trends and emerging regulatory risks, support transparency reporting, and leverage AI enabled tools to identify and synthesize regulatory developments. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, are required to support data analysis and reporting. You may also contribute to supply chain related analysis where policy changes impact operations. This is a fully remote contract position with a pay range of $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.
