This position is based in Brussels, Belgium (office-based). The team operates in the electricity market, building and maintaining data pipelines that serve as gateways to Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and enable market operations with substantial PnL. As a Business Analyst, you will help understand, structure, and optimize interactions with TSOs to maximize efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

Business & Market Analysis: gain in-depth knowledge of TSO markets, market mechanisms, and their impact on Engie's Short Term Power; monitor regulatory and operational changes; advise stakeholders on TSO access, balancing mechanisms, and redispatching.
Requirements Definition & Solution Design: conduct detailed studies to understand business needs with portfolio managers and market operators; define and document business processes, workflows, and interactions with TSOs; collaborate with the architecture team to design scalable, efficient solutions for market integration; translate business needs into clear functional requirements in collaboration with business and IS teams.
