The role involves real estate development, community development, administrative and analytical tasks under the supervision of Project Developers in the development of housing projects. The position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Key responsibilities: - Assist Developers in coordinating with other Mercy Housing departments to determine project feasibility, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate a smooth transition from development to operations. - Coordinate resident relocation plans. - Prepare and submit land use applications, attend hearings and neighborhood meetings, and foster a team approach to obtaining neighborhood acceptance of proposed housing projects. - Gather resident input and acceptance of rehabilitation projects.

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Planning or related field. - Three years of related work experience.

Preferred qualifications: - Professional Certifications. - Experience in affordable housing.

Knowledge and skills: - Detail-oriented with experience in creating and analyzing financial spreadsheets. - Ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds. - Multi-tasking and prioritization abilities. - Strong organizational skills. - Familiarity with Mercy Housing structure. - Understanding of affordable housing concepts, finance, and related processes. - Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. - Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
