The City of New York, Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI), seeks a Public Safety Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle within the Public Safety Division. The role involves developing and maintaining integrated project plans, schedules, resource and risk management, and governance documentation; coordinating cross-functional teams of city staff, consultants, vendors, and stakeholder agencies; providing status reporting to executive leadership; managing procurement activities including statements of work (SOWs), contracts, RFPs, and vendor deliverables; and guiding PMO process improvement and operational maturity efforts. Responsibilities also include reviewing artifacts such as business and technical requirements, architecture, implementation plans, testing documentation, and transition materials; mentoring other Project Managers; and coordinating with operations to ensure successful transition of projects into production support.
