Senior DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure at the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI). Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States. Work Arrangement: On-site (office). The role provides Site Reliability Engineering for current and new automation services, including writing and maintaining code. Responsibilities include monitoring CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes clusters, triaging alerts, applying fixes for low-to-medium issues, and escalating complex incidents. You will write and maintain scripts, YAML configurations, and Terraform/Ansible modules under senior guidance to support deployments and infrastructure changes. You will perform smoke testing and validation of deployments in development and staging environments, and ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting function after changes. You will participate in design sessions and code reviews, build expertise in Linux, containers, Git, Infrastructure as Code, and observability tools, and adhere to change control processes.
