We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Assistant Community Manager to support the property management team at our Houston, Texas community. This on-site role works with the Property Manager to develop and implement efficient operations, inspect common areas and apartment units, and provide recommendations for improvements. Responsibilities include assisting with leasing activities, marketing efforts, renewals, and resident relations; managing rent collection and deposits; processing invoices into the Budget Control Log; distributing non-payment notices and following up on delinquencies; ensuring compliance with state laws and Fair Housing requirements; maintaining accurate resident files; and supporting resident service requests. The candidate will also help coordinate resident events, create monthly newsletters, and participate in training. In the Property Manager's absence, the role may assume supervisory responsibilities to manage the property. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with bilingual Spanish/English proficiency required. Education: High School; Experience: 1 year minimum; Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience. Competencies include Problem Solving, Project Management, Customer Service, Change Management, Cost Consciousness, Planning/Organizing, and Leadership. Physical demands are as described in the job posting. Transports residents on property grounds and runs errands as necessary.
