Senior Project Accountant based in the United States is responsible for providing financial leadership across a portfolio of large construction projects. The role serves as a strategic partner to project managers and operational teams, ensuring accurate budgeting, billing, forecasting, compliance, and reporting. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining project budgets, managing project billing, maintaining rate tables, monitoring subcontractor compliance, processing invoices and cost reallocations, analyzing cost-to-complete and gross profit fluctuations, supporting revenue projections and risk analysis, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project accounting experience in construction, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, construction industry experience, familiarity with AIA billing, and proficiency with CMiC and Textura preferred. Working in the Miami office three days per week with remote work two days is expected.
