About the role

ST Engineering is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud & Data Centre Solutions team in London, United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, with a passion for cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.) following security, scalability, and cost-optimization best practices.
Develop and maintain Terraform templates and modules to automate provisioning and configuration.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable smooth deployment and compliance.
Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Maintain documentation, version control, and configuration management across environments.
Participate in architecture discussions, proofs-of-concept, and ongoing improvements to infrastructure automation.
3–4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud and IaC (Terraform).
1–2 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps (preferred).
Strong knowledge of AWS services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring).
Terraform proficiency for provisioning and management.
Solid understanding of n
