The Controller leads all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, treasury, and internal controls for a multi-site food ingredient manufacturing business, overseeing the financial operations of two manufacturing facilities. This role serves as a key business partner to ownership and senior leadership, providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance. Based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States, this is an on-site role.

Key responsibilities include: - Direct all accounting operations (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory accounting) - Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; manage month-end and year-end close; develop reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs; ensure GAAP compliance - Lead standard cost development and maintenance for products and processes; analyze variances, labor efficiency, yield, overhead absorption, and inventory valuation; partner with plant leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and analysis; develop financial models; monitor performance against budget and forecast; provide actionable insights - Oversee cash management and treasury, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, debt compliance, and capital expenditure evaluation - Maintain internal controls, coordinate audits and regulatory filings, ensure compliance with regulations, and mitigate financial and operational risks - Lead and develop
