We are seeking an Account Manager to support Gordon Foodservice in the Louisville, Kentucky area. This on-site role requires building trusted relationships with multi-unit restaurant clients and key decision-makers, driving sales, and meeting quarterly and annual objectives.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.

Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Build relationships and drive sales for multi-unit chain restaurants and key decision-makers.
Maintain up-to-date reports and communicate sales progress regularly.
Develop and foster strong customer, distributor, and manufacturer relationships.
Educate customers on product lines and assist with menu ideation where beneficial.
Travel within the local market; daily local travel by car is required. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance with adequate limits are required.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
5+ years of operational foodservice sales experience.
Experience managing multiple product categories and customers.
Ability to interpret and use multiple information sources to develop strategy and tactics.
Culinary skills; bilingual preferred.
Basic skills in sales, marketing, customer service, and communication.
