About the role

Senior DevOps Engineer is sought for our client in Bern, Switzerland. In this role you will actively shape the development of modern DevOps platforms and automation solutions and support the transformation toward an agile, secure, and efficient IT landscape.

Responsibilities

Operating, developing, and automating modern DevOps platforms
Building, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support agile software development

Ensuring high availability, stability, and security of platforms
Diagnosing and resolving complex production incidents
Enhancing monitoring, logging, and observability
Contributing to cloud and hybrid-cloud initiatives and modernization of existing system landscapes

Supporting and coaching teams on DevOps principles and best practices

Requirements

Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or System Engineer in complex enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or equivalent
Excellent experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container technologies
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or Private Cloud)
Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server environments
Scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Understanding of IT security, compliance and regulator
