Senior Product Manager, Core Data Platform – Utah-based Hybrid BambooHR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of our core data platform—the foundational layer that defines how every system, integration, and AI experience understands our data. You will own the data definitions, contracts, and adoption processes that enable faster product development, simpler integrations, and more accurate AI interactions. Your primary customers are internal teams, and when the platform is right, every product benefits.

Responsibilities

What you need:

Align data definitions across product and engineering teams and lock decisions that others can build on.
Coordinate a multi-team, multi-quarter effort without direct authority.
Partner with principal architects and engineering leads to make principled data-modeling tradeoffs and communicate implications broadly.
Ensure the data platform is easy to build against: clean APIs, well-documented contracts, and a clear upgrade path as the model evolves.
Build the internal case for platform investment by linking foundational decisions to outcomes for integrations, AI features, and customer-facing products.
Own the data catalog and validation process, maintaining coherence as new domains are onboarded.
Measure adoption and coverage; identify gaps and blockers.
Collaborate with AI platform teams to ensure the data model supports AI-driven experiences.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Motivate a team to do the best work of their careers.
