Stantec’s Houston Buildings team is seeking a mid-level Project Manager with a strong background in architecture and/or interior design to join our Houston, Texas office. This role will lead interior design and related disciplines on projects across markets including Airports, Civic, Education, Health, Government, Science & Tech, Workplace/Office, Hospitality and Multi-family. The successful candidate will manage the interior design team, coordinate with an Architecture Project Manager, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. This is a client- and team-facing role with significant growth potential, and may involve business development activities as needed. Responsibilities include developing relationships with consultants, team members, and clients; serving as the single point of contact for the client; pursuing business development opportunities (RFP responses, project presentations, networking, writing articles, and participating in seminars); developing project proposals, fees, and Owner and Consultant agreements; forecasting and organizing project teams; monitoring schedules and budgets; ensuring budget, code, and jurisdictional compliance; organizing client meetings and documenting minutes; providing mentorship and guidance to project teams; reviewing invoices and billing reports; and ensuring project delivery follows Stantec’s and client’s protocols and standards.
