What you will be doing: - Build relationships across the full media landscape: national, business, tech, defense trade, and creator media - Proactively pitch and field inbound press inquiries, serving as first point of contact for media requests - Analyze coverage and share of voice trends for leadership visibility - Maintain our editorial and announcement calendar - Run embargoed rollouts and negotiate media exclusives - Draft and distribute press releases - Produce media one-pagers, fact sheets, press kits, bios, and boilerplate as needed - Partner with our content production team on media assets as part of integrated campaigns
You should have the following: - 5+ years in public relations or media relations, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, tech, or hardware industries - Demonstrated experience pitching and coordinating embargoes and exclusives, not just supporting them - Demonstrated experience shaping narrative
