This on-site People Operations Manager based in East Syracuse, New York drives the employee experience and operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and program scalability aligned with business objectives. The role reports one direct Generalist on the People & Culture team.
Responsibilities include: - HR Operations & Compliance: oversee onboarding, internal transitions, offboarding; ensure federal, state, and local employment law compliance; manage immigration processes with legal counsel and vendors; maintain P&C policies; oversee benefits administration and leave management; identify efficiencies and improve processes. - Compensation & Benefits: lead compensation benchmarking and annual salary reviews; manage relationships with brokers and carriers; monitor internal equity and external market competitiveness; design and communicate new or updated programs; analyze benefits utilization and solicit employee feedback; ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, and relevant laws; provide data-driven insights. - Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management: oversee RPO partnerships; forecast staffing needs; monitor recruiting metrics; optimize hiring processes; support workforce planning and succession. - Employee Relations: ensure consistent policy application; manage employee relations cases; provide reporting to VP of
