IEC Property Services Corporation (IECPSC) is seeking an energetic Community Manager to lead a 60-unit apartment community in Union City, California. The Community Manager will supervise day-to-day property operations, including maintenance staff and vendor relationships, ensure goals are met, and align with company culture. Responsibilities include marketing and leasing available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws, pre-leasing and maintaining a waitlist, delivering excellent resident service, collecting and depositing rent and fees (including deposits), marketing units on Craigslist and approved sites, screening applicants, preparing units for rental including renovation oversight, updating Yardi Voyager with traffic, applications, leases, notices, and work orders, providing status updates to the Regional Manager, maintaining organized unit files, bidding and negotiating service contracts, managing budgets, and responding to resident inquiries timely. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork, plus a high school diploma (college degree a plus) and a valid driver’s license. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Compensation includes hourly rate plus commission and eligibility for a bonus program.
