Team Lead at a licensed childcare center is a special role. We’re looking for difference makers who will inspire children to become lifelong learners. As a Team Lead, you are a Teacher who promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, takes the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, with classroom instruction comprising at least 50% of the weekly schedule. You are also a Communicator who builds relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support the center’s success. You will be a Mentor, responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences to share with preschool children. You will be a Leader, taking on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the center. You will be an Expert, ensuring the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards. We are looking for energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have: Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans; College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA (preferred); the ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience; and the ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
