IT Help Desk Technician
The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining the hospital's Information Technology Help Desk program, using a work order system to provide end-user support and perform preventive maintenance on computer hardware. The role handles confidential information, including patient health information (PHI), and requires adherence to security and privacy policies to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance.
Eligible for medical coverage on day one; other benefits begin on the first of the month following hire date. Schedule: 40 hours per week, first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call rotation. Qualifications: High School Diploma. Ability to install and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Office 365, and other business applications, as well as end-user computers and peripherals. Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. Python scripting and/or Linux scripting is desirable.
