The Project Manager will oversee the management and coordination of architectural lighting projects from order release through project completion within the New York City market, collaborating closely with sales representatives, distributors, contractors, and Connecticut-based manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include order processing and internal project setup, creation and management of project drawings and submittal documentation, validation of fixture counts, layouts, and scope details, and participation in preconstruction meetings with project stakeholders. Coordination with Connecticut-based manufacturing facilities will support scheduling, production, and delivery execution. The role also entails tracking project timelines, open items, and customer deliverables, and facilitating communication among customers, sales teams, scheduling, and manufacturing while assisting with resolving field issues, project changes, and execution challenges as projects progress. What you’ll bring includes strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects, excellent communication and customer service abilities, attention to detail and analytical thinking, and the ability to read architectural drawings and technical documentation (AutoCAD experience is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is expected, along with integrity, ownership, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
