Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., is seeking an Electrical Tester (High Voltage) to join the Quality Team in Minneapolis, MN. This on-site, full-time role (1st shift) involves setting up, operating, troubleshooting, calibrating and reporting on test items such as motors, generators, control equipment and specialized power apparatus to meet IEEE, API, NEMA and other product specifications. Responsibilities include reading engineering data sheets and drawings, preparing data sheets and test plans, using testing equipment (pony brakes, generators, voltmeters, ammeters, dynamometers, driving motors, tachometers, meggers and high-pot equipment), inspecting for defects, connecting test units with meters and other apparatus, collecting and analyzing data, mechanical setup and dynamic balancing, electrical in-process verification, and maintaining test equipment and documentation. The role supports continuous improvement and complies with ISO 9001, OSHA and EPA regulations. Lifting and moving materials is required using forklift, pallet jack, or overhead crane. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (an advanced certificate/degree in a related field is preferred), ability to work with minimal supervision, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to read and communicate with internal and external customers. Physical requirements include lifting up to 20–50 lbs and occasional work at heights or in confined spaces. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Pay is $22–28 per hour with overtime on weekdays and week
