Senior Product Owner is a seasoned, highly autonomous practitioner responsible for major portions of complex products and for leading cross-functional delivery at the module level. This role owns backlog strategy for a significant product area, resolves a diverse range of complex problems with limited direction, and serves as an escalation point and coach for less-experienced Product Owners. Duties and Responsibilities: - Own backlog strategy and prioritization for a major or complex product area, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints - Lead a small-to-medium cross-functional team through discovery, planning, and delivery at the module level with minimal oversight - Set the standard for high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; establish backlog and Definition of Done practices for the team - Serve as an escalation point for complex requirements, dependencies, and delivery risks - Coach, mentor, and review the work of Associate Product Owners and Product Owners; share best practices and raise team craft - Partner with engineering, architecture, and UX to sequence complex initiatives and resolve trade-offs - Engage directly with government clients and stakeholders to validate direction and shape release plans - Drive cross-functional initiatives and process improvements that increase delivery predictability and quality - Define and monitor product health an
