No previous industry experience is required; on-the-job training is provided and you will have the opportunity to develop professionally while you learn and grow. Responsibilities include: maintaining an existing customer base by following up, quoting, and processing orders; applying pricing guidelines set by the Branch Manager; managing customer price sheets; collaborating with manufacturers’ reps and regional sales personnel to grow the business; evaluating customer needs to determine appropriate products or alternatives; coordinating marketing activities with major distributors and programs; coordinating new customer setup; providing information for accounts receivable to establish lines of credit; determining appropriate line based on estimated volume; handling customer complaints including product quality, freight claims, pricing; entering quotes and orders into the system. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency with MS Office; detail-oriented and organized; self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem-solve; some technical knowledge and ability to learn the product offering; able to work independently and as part of a close-knit office team; commercial experience such as cost analysis, benchmarking, market trend analysis, and pricing.
