MSA is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician to serve as the first point of contact for employees requiring technical assistance. The successful candidate will be empathetic, approachable, and capable of troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues to keep technology running smoothly and to empower colleagues. This role is onsite at the Baraboo, Wisconsin office with hybrid work options where possible. Responsibilities include providing first-line technical support via tickets, email, calls, and chat; troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues; building, configuring, and deploying PCs and tablets; maintaining the IT Asset Inventory; verifying software licensing; researching and evaluating technology requests; collaborating with vendors; documenting issues and solutions; and occasional on-site support at other company offices. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (degree in Computer/Information Science preferred); no prior experience required as training is provided; strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, Windows and Office 365; familiarity with firewalls, routers, and system builds; SCCM experience a plus; excellent communication, patience, empathy, and problem-solving; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; and eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
